Being in college it is not often that I get to spoil myself, but last weekend I picked up two bottles of classic stoli and I was amazed at how smooth it was and the fact that after a few drinks the next morning I did not suffer from any hangover what so ever. Now in order to not break the bank, does anyone know of cheaper alternatives that leave you hangover free after about 8-9 mix drinks?
Thanks

Vodka is for women and communists. The only acceptable reason for drinking it is poverty.

The local Grocery Outlet is running a special on a Vodka called Parliament from Russia. It's $10.99/liter. It's supposedly milk purified, I have no idea what that entails except it's supposed to remove the impurities. And remove them it does. This is easily the smoothest Vodka I've ever experienced.

I recommend New Amsterdam Gin.
But if you must really go with teh vodka, i suggest Svedka. Cheaper than stoli but pretty much just as good.
Never ever go to the Grey Gooose (or vodka over $25), big time waste of money.

Wybrowa is good.
Vodka is only girlie if not drunk neat. Donot bother with shots, the bottle is good enough or a rocks glass full.
Drunk? I'm not drunk! You wouldn't dare accuse me of that if I was s0ber!

Crown Royal I do not like. I find it to be Whiskey-flavored water.

Very cheap Whiskey mixes well with ginger. Crown Royal costs too damn much. I usually drink Whiskies straight no mixer.

Second, Monopolowa or Luksosowa has always treated me well.
Agreed. I would also suggest Boru. Good price point and I believe it's charcoal filtered to boot.
