I dont like J&B much, last time i had it i just couldn't get into it.
Dont drink JW red much cos its harder to get than black here, so i just drink black instead. Thats my standard scotch really.
Drunk? I'm not drunk! You wouldn't dare accuse me of that if I was s0ber!

Black Label is a fine Scotch. Nothing wrong in that all, but I don't consider it a cheap scotch. I guess that's relative, though.

Its not cheap but not really expensive either. Its nice stuff but not so nice i wont load it into my coffee, or make cocktails from it. I have got a bottle for as little as £15 before which i call cheap.
For truely cheap fun, sainsburys own brand scotch whiskey isnt too bad considering its supermarket own brand booze.

That sounds good. I'm hoping for something nice from the Maker's Mark Ambassador gift section this year too.

Last couple years there was some svedka in my stocking. Now that I have moved away mostly from the vodka my friend Johnny or a well known Grouse may end up there. A decent single malt would be a surpsising treat though.

Irony, ballantine scotch made in scotland.....not really sold in the UK cos it was made for the foreign market.
Its around $25 - 30 around where i live for a bottle, (£17 is the cheapest ive seen it) so buying a bottle of JW black is about the same price.

I find ALL Johnnie Walker scotch tastes watered-down (ESPECIALLY the $179-per-bottle Blue Label*).
Great advertising, bad scotch, not cheap.
