Massive, did you try the Engine 21 at GLB? Good stuff.

Mort's is one of the best downtown after work joints.

RIP Mitzi. Jermann's on 40th & St. Clair. They stayed open during the Prohibition.

Don't forget the Tick Tock Tavern. Pitchers of Genessee. *ouch* Still, interesting bar crowd there.

I kinda miss the Winking Lizard. All it's locations.

BW3 in Rocky River would comp us drinks sometimes because we were there so damned much.

Bobby O's on Detroit.

McCarthy's on Detroit. Dang they give copious shots!

riverwood used to be the Telstar in ancient times...we passed out on a nearby tree lawn once and somehow avoided the police.

Everybody catch Massive's interview in the Plain Dealer PDQ section yesterday....dam dude do you have aapersonal publicist or what? Very cool but why did you "plead the Fifth" when asked how many beers you have after a shift ... why not just admit it, "two" hehe heh

anyhow cheerrs Massive and Dotto if your BF is the writer Jason. get him on this here site, he's a good racountour.

I love that Cleveland has it's own thread. I'm originally from Cleveland and lived in Lakewood before picking up and moving here. I'm finally going back home in April for a much needed vacation after being gone for three long years. I used to drink at Corky's and the Mars Bar since they were both semi-close to my apartment. I lived right behind the Patio Bar which I only went to once. Drunks pouring out at closing time often peed on my building and I once came out to find some guy leaning against my car and vomiting. Ah, good times. :)

We are going to the Tribe game tonight. See if Astrubal can pull off another unassisted triple play. We will be frontloading and if Massive shows up we will buy him a set up. We will also buy for anyone we hear use the word "libation" in their order; like if you told the tender "For my LIBATION, I would like [whatever it is]" and we hear it, we will buy. And today's special bonus: if the barback asks us what we'd like for our "libation," that's an automatic ten tip and a drink.

We cannot fucking wait to go drinking.
