Perhaps it's the fabulous stories I've heard from my friends and relatives who live over there, perhaps it's the episodes of Due South I have on series record, I dunno. But I REALLY want to go to Canada. Any Canadians got any suggestions as to must see places in your lovely looking country?

Rochester, New York. It's mostly like Canadia anyway. Good drinking places there.

I want to see mountains and proper snow and moose and bears. Y'know, through binoculars or something. My Canadian uncle is so proud of being Canadian but in such a quiet and modest way that I want to check it out for myself. My English aunt who emigrated out there says she wouldn't dream of coming back here. I don't think I've ever heard anything but good stuff about Canada. Although one day I'll go to America as well. You all look like you're having a gay old time too. In the best possible way of course.

Canada is the most beautiful country in the world. This is a statement of fact!

I would recommend flying in to Vancouver then going to Banff - stopping off at Kamloops or Revelstoke overnight. THen up to Jasper which is smaller than Banff but amazing scenery and you'll defo see a few bears around there. Back to Vancouver and - if you have time - over to Vancouver Island to go to Victoria and up to Tofino to see the whales and have a few drinks on the beach.

Wow, sound like the Canadian Tourist Board there! Nah, but honestly Ginny - you'll love it in Canada. Make sure ya do it!

Sounds brilliant! I'd have to go to Ottawa too to visit the family but after that it'd be bears and mountains - yay!

Nice one Ginny! You'll have a great time. Westjet do some fairly reasonable flights around the place so I would defo recommend going to the west coast. Lahey and a few of the Ontario boys can recommend beers whilst you're there - have a great time & post pics!

The route and places Tomodon recommended are great! Travel by car, it'll take a bit longer but you'll get to see so much wildlife, huge mountains, lakes... I fuckin' love it here.

yeah, if you're looking for mountains, that itinerary is hard to beat. getting over to ottowa will show you a bit more of the country. if you have the chance, the maritimes are great too, but being from the iles, probably less new to you.

I enjoyed Toronto immensely, when I visited. I recommend it.
I would really like to atttend the Calgary Stampede, one day. Also, in western Ontario, there is a city/town/municipality called "Pickle Crow".

Seriously, there are SO many things to do/see in Canada that I don't know where to begin...but if you can, go to Quebec City/Quebec and St John's/Newfoundland.
