I'd like to drink scotch with Roald Dahl, and tiki drinks with Robert Louis Stevenson

Didn't see this one coming, but yes-yes.

Nonfictionals I would say Doug Stanhope or HST.

Nonfictional; Anthony Bourdain.

Would have loved to have drank with Amy Winehouse,Janis Joplin and Oliver Reed (seperately) - whatever was in the glasses would be good enough for me.

Yo Doosey, you're my Ninja and all, but I bet if you were to write this post today you would pick drinking Lone Star with Dale on some NWO Conspiracy Tip. But hey, as Peter Griffin once quoted Voltaire, "Well, sir, while I might disagree with what you say, I will defend to the death your right to say it."

Massive on the other hand is drinking Celery Smoothies with Lance Armstrong

Speaking of Bourdain, he did an episode in Montana with poet and novelist Jim Harrison, who seemed like a real character and guzzled whiskey like kool-aid. Bet he's got some stories.

I'd love to have my ear bent by some old-school New York bartender, someone who really knows where all the bodies are buried (or sunken).

I had to look up celebrity favorite drinks, but here are some fun ones:

Champagne with Marilyn Monroe
Absinthe with Oscar Wilde, Picasso, and Manet
Gin with F. Scott Fitzgerald and Bogart
