no need to diss the man up stairs, have a little respect. and since the new guy buys, ill have a glass of bookers.

if anything alcohol puts you IN control, it lets you have yourself back, it lets you be you. if you did something stupid when you were drunk your subconciance has been wanting to do it and secretly keeping it from you at the same time. you cant blame booze for your mistake, thats like saying its your cars fault that you got into an accident.

I agree with this. I think drinking brings out the REAL you, not the FAKE you.

I have to constantly remind myself not to purchase anything online while drunk. When i'm at the point of blackout luckily my only urge is to listen to songs on youtube

I'm always in control of what I drink. What I can't control is what the drink does to me. Bet I never, ever, schedule or limit my drinking. I go with the flow. And tomorrow is, well, just another day.

Sometimes I am not in control of what I drink, such as when a pop-up cash bar at a conference only has a few bottles of vodka, or when I'm invited to someone else's tailgate and they only have Mich Ultra in the cooler. I mean, yeah I'll drink it, but it's not ideal.

Wise words. You can have the best drinking schedule ever, but after the 3rd or 4th, a new and much more reasonable schedule will form in your mind: just drink until you've had enough and let tomorrow take care of itself.
