I hereby declare the first Western Norwegian chapter to be founded. In the spirit of Amundsen, Heyerdahl and Nansen, our intent will be to explore and analyze the culture and life of booze where ever, and however it may be found. Whatever form or function, and regardless of potency, we solemnly swear to swill. Our name lends itself from the vessel used by pioneering Norwegian arctic explorers. May the name steer us through the high seas of drunkenness, and by the gods - must it provide ice for our cocktails from the farthest corners of our hyperboreal shores.
