This is the least interested I've been in a draft for a long time. Not having a top five pick for once can really change your perspective. It used to feel like the most promising part of the year.

The teams that build reputations (and records) of being perennially competitive are the ones who know how to consistently draft well in the later rounds (rd 4 and below).

Who needs draft picks when you're putting together one of the greatest teams ever?

Well I happen to think that Peyton should have signed with the 49ers out of a duty to making history in the sport, but apparently he thought the pressure would be too high. Oh well- Alex Smith is practically just as good.

I'm not sure how this affects the draft other than the wind.

I am a Bengals fan and I am eagerly awaiting this year's draft. Bengals need a cornerback in our first pick, a wide-receiver second, and D-line or running back in the third pick. After that, a safety would seem to be the smartest choice. If these things happen successfully, I'll be happy.
There are those who look upon some of my more unsavory habits and call them the cries for help of a problem drinker. I prefer to think of them as the charming misadventures of a dashing rogue.

It looks like those old scouts from Moneyball are working for the Miami Dolphins now. Ryan Tannehill's girlfriend:
