Been an Imus gal since I was a wee lass of about 11. Not that Stern isn't without his merits. But, being a big fan o' fellas - the Lesbian Dial A Date and all the topless broads just never stirred my loins.

Present and accounted for, sir! My favorite part of the show is when he takes a normal, respectful, thoughtful interview into an attempt to get some elected official, big mucky muck captain of industry, news anchor or well known author to say something outRAGEOUS that'll land 'em in hot water in the press the next day. It's unbelievable some of the shite he's been able to pry outta their pieholes. Or when Bernard comes out with something outlandish - usually as "Cardinal Egan" - but it's also funny when he elucidates his desire for Imus' demise. And Bo Dietl is always entertaining. Or when the genteel Charles goes and blows a gasket and brings the verbal haymakers on the I-man.

Gotta love his work with the Imus Ranch For Kids With Cancer and the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund for wounded soldiers - built a rehab hospital for 'em in Texas. He raised the money from his own considerable war chest and by putting the arm to all his wealthy buddies. God bless for that.

Actually I've never listened to him on the radio before. One time I came-to and his show was on TV, but it isn't exactly hangover entertainment so I had to turn it off real quick. I kept waiting for him to cough a bunch of marbles out of his mouth.

I understand that its upsetting that he had a relapse to heroin again, but hearing his talk about pool halls and lowlifes and such struck a chord with me. Not that I do heroin, but I know the sleazy pool halls and the junkies and connivers and sharks that hang around such establishments.

Beer League was one of the best comedies to come out in the last decade. There wasn't a lot of production dollars put into it but the actual writing is comedy gold.

Been watching some Howard on Demand things on google video lately, the roasts particularly are great.

Beer League is good. It's pretty much the Artie Lange show, but that's not a bad thing.
