Until The Evening Ends - Dust Rhinos

I bet you I can drink those pints as fast as you can buy 'em
And 'till the barman yells last call we'll be the best of friends
Well I can't recall your name good sir
but I'll drink your tab now anyway
It's all in Jolly Good Old Fun until the evening ends.

That's a lovely coat you have but plaid is not your colour
I like the way you wear your hat; no thought to style or trends
You wouldn't catch me dead in that
but who am I to say
'Cause it's all in Jolly Good Old Fun until the evening ends.

And here's to all the pretty girls hopping on the dance floor
Eyeing all the boys and acting three sheets to the wind
There's no booze in what you're drinking
but we're glad you're happy anyway
It's all in Jolly Good Old Fun until the evening ends.

(Fast drunken fiddle break)

I think I may have had enough, could someone call a cab
I'm so deep in the bottle that I think I've got the bends.
But I'll be back tomorrow
and I hope to see you here
'Cause it's all in Jolly Good Old Fun until the evening ends.
It's all in Jolly Good Old Fun until the evening ends.

I had to post this here when I found this thread. I wrote this song for our band's new album and I'd be lying if I didn't give Modern Drunkard huge credit for inspiration on this one. If you wanna hear it for yourself, we've got it posted at http://www.myspace.com/dustrhino ; look for Until the Evening Ends. Shameless plug I know, but all you lushes helped me write it; just wanted to share back. Cheers everyone!

Listening to my neighbors screw.
Awesome.
I gonna lean on the wall and start furiously masturbating moaning their names into the wall.
I hope i get to cum before they stop.

That's a little too creepy, even for me, Bob.

But my parents are Brad pitt and Angelina Jolie.
And they adopted me so their not my real parents.
Plus they have really really loud sex.
I feel like Edward Norton in Fight Club.

Beastie Boys: anything on License to Ill, Sabotage
Anything Warren Zevon did before he turned into a 12 stepper (and almost anything after)
Pulp Fiction Soundtrack: particular Link Wray and his Ray Men & The Lively Ones

Really feeling the new wave of hipster rubbish right now to drink with:

Ed Sheeran - The A Team
Ghostpoet - Survive it

But the original and best, i believe: Bob Dylans album "Blood On The Tracks".
Everything is better listening to that record.

Most of Strange Days, by the Doors, specifically Moonlight Drive. Some glass thimble work in there that just lends grace to hammerdity, hammerdness, gettindrunk.
