Seattle's dive bars

What looks to be an excellent book about Seattle's non- sushi non-chi chi establishments of booze:

I've been to one of them(Blue Moon), some of them are just way too scary for me.

The Rose garden, number 3 on the list was just shut down for drug dealing on premises.
The owner is a retired DEA agent and his chinese wife.

Oh and a nice stabbing at Kelly's, number one on the list:

I like Seattle, and I like dive bars, but I'm not sure I'll venturing in to too many of those. Some bars are best left to the locals, it's not always a good idea to be the stranger....

Every time I've visited Seattle I end up at this teeny little place called The Art Bar. Best fucking Guinness pour in the city, every time, and the waitresses are always top notch.

Welcome Mike...
Is that now where there used to be a dry cleaner's joint, next to Joe's Mart?
