Watching a bunch of Surf Movies tonight

Shush you. I was at Waimea just a 8 years after the '64 movie with James Mitchum and Barbara Eden was filmed.

Anyway this caught my eye:

Who doesn't want to listen to a little Dick Dale while taking that sweet ride down the Central Coast from Monterey past Big Sur, San Simeon and on to Santa Barbara. Few watering holes but the ones that are there are usually staffed by youngsters just passing through on their way to some life they've yet to define. And they adopted a rescue dog to live in their studio flat for some reason.

okay now, everbody hate on the Grumpy, because he wouldn't bestir himself to the free concert of Dick Dale and Gary Hoey, a couple of few years back. He broke my heart and stomped that sucker flat, since those are my two most favorite guys. I should have just got in the car, with the bottle of bourbon and the truck keys, and roared on off to enjoy. Yep. Shoulda. Coulda. Didn't. Damn. Dumbass me. yep.

I'll be singing their songs for you in french Ma!
(now by court order, I'm denied any access to a mike or any sort of device likely to amplify my "horrendous" singing, including my hands put together).

Hell, I'm not even allowed to sing in church. Father Tim says the Pope says no, and that's the final word.

Good luck with that, Frenchy...Dick Dale is an instrumental act.
