What is a "Scotch Burrito"?

Postby Freddie AppsHero » Mon Jan 23, 2012 2:56 pm

Is it a real thing, or did I just make it up? And if so... how can I invent one?

All I can say is, don't let Mayhem give you one.

If it's anything like a Scotch egg I want to have one.

I've heard of the "scottish mermaid" beofre. Check the urban dictionary.

I didn't even think of "Scotch" as in "Scottish". I assumed it was "Scotch" as in "whiskey".

I've heard haggis jokingly referred to as "Scotch burrito"...but not by any Scotsman I know.

Maybe this is related?

Grumpy says that growing up, he and his many siblings often ate scotch stew. Apparently, it is some loathsome concocotion of cheap ground beef, tripe, barley, and some just about to rot root vegetables. Damn. And I thought some of the hash my mom slung stank. The way I look at it, and yes, I have had to look at it, many times in my childhood and adult life, is this: if you ain't got no money, eat beans. Forget about meat, because cheap meat is worse than dogfood. Which brings up the whole other question: Why do we expect dogs to eat such horrid trash?
Oh, well, yeah. dogs will eat just about anything, won't they? Even when they're being well fed.

My family in Ukraine were shocked when we told them that we give our dogs meat. "Meat is for people" they said.

But more importantly, is the hamburger meat really one hundred percent made out of ground Hamburg people. I'm sure some fast food chains are cheating.
