Sincere condolences, Meg.
I hope you are okay and will say a prayer.

Meggie,

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine the pain you're feeling. If you need to talk or vent or cry I'm here.

*big hug*

RIP Tim. You will be missed.

It's strange to say someone you never actually met in real life was a good friend, but DJF was that to me and then some. I'll never forget some of the shit he posted on this board that made me laugh until I cried, or the many long, drunken, rambling phone calls we shared over the last few years. And if anyone has the time (and if it still exists out there), resurrect his thread about getting busted for the DUI where he referred to the prison guard as 'Pat Benatar's Dad' (I think); that'll give you a good idea, if you didn't know him, of what he was and how he will be missed.

190, my thoughts are with you, and with Tim.

Years ago, when I was younger and really stupid, Tim once beat the carkeys out of me. Literally. Now that's a friend.

Having seen his legacy passed on through Casino and Lou, I gotta say he will be missed dearly. And not just because Lou needs a lot more work.

I am at a loss. Trying to keep it together at work as I only found out about 10 minutes ago.

Only got to talk to Mr. Flask once with Massive on a 3-way DD. I remember him blowing a gut because I wouldn't call him Tim, it was Mr. Flask.

Always a classy guy, a quick wit and not a downer.

Wish I could say something to help, but I know there are no words. Let me know if you need anything, meggie, PM me if you need contact info.

It's been seven months. Hopefully, my penance will be paid in another two. And I can consider myself a recovering drunk driver. Not my proudest moment, but I learned a painful lesson and it couldve been much worse.

DrunkenJackFlask wrote:A minor consolation, it was one of the funniest threads ever. I laugh my ass off every time I read it.

I couldn't decide wether to laugh or cry. Laughing was better. I'm glad others could take in the light side of an otherwise crappy experience. I tried my best to spin it well.

There is a link in that thread to the PBD thread, and it unfortunately says the thread doesn't exist.

I know that my blood would register drunk, but what the hell does it take to get a good stagger going these days?

He called me several times from that first Con. I remember he LOVED meeting all you guys there.

When it was over, he checked out of the Stardust, drove a few miles south on the 15, and turned right backaround and checked back in to the Stardust because he knew he was way too hungover to make the drive to San Diego.
