Vitali Vodka

Postby JohnnyT » Tue Jun 13, 2006 9:04 am

Anyone ever heard of this shit?

As some may recall, I was bitching last week because I had run out of booze at home, even my emergency vodka.

So I was out this morning getting petrol for the car, coffee for me and the Mrs., and I decided to replenish my emergency vodka.

I found this stuff at Von's, $6 for a fifth! That, my fellow drunkards, is cheap booze.

As an aside, when I got to the checkout, the checkout lady literally gave me a disgusted look, didn't even say hello to me forbeersake.

The Modern Drunkard movement still has a long way to go when a man can't buy a fifth of vodka at 6:30 AM without getting "the look".

Just did a vodka tasting party and included Vitali as the el-cheapo end of the spectrum. It performed admirably!

you're lucky you can even buy it that conveniently. I can't even buy a refreshing alcoholic beverage before work earlier than 10AM

I love it when the spambots resurrect threads that had previously been resurrected by other spambots.

I agree that you're lucky to be legally able to buy a fifth of vodka at 6:30am...wait no, we're just unlucky. (Fuckin' Utah. Then again it was my choice to leave CA so I should shut up.) Haven't tried Vitali, but if you're into cheap vodka try UV Grape, under $8 a bottle if I remember correctly and it tastes like grape popsicle, at least if you mix it, was never brave enough to try it straight but probably will someday.

I like this chick already. Where in CA did you move from?

Also- I'll take a double Old Grand Dad, neat, and leave the bottle. Thanks and PDPOPDO.

Completely understandable. From what I hear there is so much drama in the LBC.
